Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell has been a chef and television host in America as well as an instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. She is host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef at the Food Network. Anne Burrell, a Food Network celebrity with her signature long, blonde hair with a pumped up personality reveals easy methods to master and removes intimidation of restaurants dishes in her show Secrets of a Restaurant. Chef Burrell also has worked in some of New York's top restaurants, has learned about Italian cuisine and its traditions as well as participated in Food Network's Iron Chef America. While growing up in the upstate New York area, Chef Burrell found a passion for cooking and food at a young age. She pursued her love of food and restaurant by enroling at The Culinary Institute of America following her graduation in English and Communications from Canisius College, Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was a fantastic experience. I was never able to study or accomplish enough. After graduating from the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners chef Burrell took a full year in Italy learning and working in La Taverna del Lupo restaurant located in Umbria as well La Bottega del 30 one Michelin star in Tuscany. While in Italy she developed an appreciation for and appreciation for Italian food. This had an enormous impact on how she views food. Burrell is a celebrity ambassador to the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. She also has been on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which assists kids with disabilities. She is a frequent guest to speak at conferences and tours across the nation in her mentorship role. Anne, throughout her entire culinary journey has stated that it's a pleasure to have the opportunity to share this passion for the food industry with people.
